FOXBORO — After missing his first practice since Week 5, Rob Gronkowski returned to the field this afternoon.
The star Patriots tight end is dealing with ankle and back injuries.
He played in the Week 8 win at Buffalo, catching three passes for 43 yards.
Right guard Shaq Mason, who exited the Buffalo game with a calf injury, was not on the field today. He’s missed every practice this week, making him highly unlikely to play Sunday night against the Packers.
Third-year pro Ted Karras figures to take his place.
