A new federal lawsuit claims that the Harvard Law Review discriminates against white men when selecting members and publishing articles by giving preference to female and minority students. The suit, filed in Boston on Saturday by a group called Faculty, Alumni, and Students Opposed to Racial Preferences, or FASORP, comes as Harvard University is preparing for trial in a separate, high profile case over its affirmative action policies. The complaint cites the selection criteria that is posted on the law review’s website. The organization filed a nearly identical suit on Sunday against the New York University Law Review, court records show.
